We are seeking an experienced (Senior) Manager, Software Delivery to lead and optimize our software project portfolio. In this key role, you ensure that all software releases across projects are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and with high quality.

Location: Tampere

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee capacity planning and portfolio‑level KPIs to ensure successful, on‑time deliveries.

• Maintain the Software Release Roadmap and lead its governance.

• Manage customer communication across the portfolio, securing confidence and resolving cross‑project issues.

• Drive focus and prioritization across software projects and ensure timely inputs for development, testing and delivery.

• Lead software gate governance and support planning of effort, timelines and costs for new offers.

• Develop project management processes, tools and reporting together with Software Project Managers.

• Manage portfolio risks and drive mitigation actions.

• Ensure transparent communication and strong stakeholder relationships.

• Maintain clear documentation and meeting records for internal and customer alignment.

Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years in software delivery or product organizations.

• 5+ years in project portfolio, program, or senior project management roles.

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

Skills & Competencies

• Connecting project portfolio to business goals and evaluating them by ROI, value and risk

• Financial and analytical skills, including budget and cost management

• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle

• Excellent and proven leadership, interpersonal, influencing and communication skills

• Strong acumen in structure thinking, conflict resolution, problem solving and priority management skills

• A working understanding of software methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid etc.)

• Proven track record in stakeholder and customer management, with good skills in negotiating

• Mindset for continuous improvement and customer centricity

• Sufficient technical background to engage in dialogue with software engineers.
