Video Business Development & Sales Director, LATAM
Location Preferred: Remote (based in LATAM region)
Travel: Up to 50% in LATAM with occasional trips to headquarters in Finland
Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and self-motivated Video Business Development & Sales Director to drive growth for Teleste’s product and service offering in Latin America. In this high-impact, individual contributor role, you will own and execute the sales strategy for key accounts investing in DVB and HFC technologies. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, marketing, and leadership to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and exceed ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate key accounts in the region
Sales responsibility for both, direct accounts and partner sales
Independently explain and demonstrate our products’ technical aspects and business value to customers
Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, deeply understanding their technical needs and delivering tailored solutions
Set and achieve aggressive sales goals and KPIs
Conduct market analysis to uncover growth areas and new opportunities
Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring a healthy pipeline
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs
Lead the creation and presentation of sales materials with support from the product team
Present Teleste and it’s offering in selected exhibitions
Host webinars and present Teleste solutions in conferences
Provide regular performance updates and insights to drive ongoing improvement
Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor degree in business, technology or marketing
10+ years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in broadcast tv or telecom sectors
Strong familiarity with broadband, cable, or related technologies is preferred
Strong broadcast video (DVB) technology knowledge is required
Experience in Cable broadband technology and sales is an advantage
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tools
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on location and individual qualifications, including experience, education, and skill set.
