Now we are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will test all newly developed features, validate customer requirements, and verify that all deliverables are completed in accordance with defined specifications. To succeed, you will study our physical and virtualized systems using multiple system applications, interface simulations, automated scripts, and Linux log analysis. You will design and execute test cases based on customer requirements and system design documentation. You will produce test and validation reports as part of the system delivery. In addition, as a test engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the test environment, including device flashing, firmware installation, and system update deployment.

What we expect from you

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in software engineering

• SW testing experience or interest to SW testing

• Experience with Linux

• Ability to study issues found and collect information for developers

• Good collaboration skills with colleagues, developers as well as with our customers

• Good written and spoken English

Experience or knowledge in the following areas is considered as bonus

• ISTQB certificate

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

• Knowledge of ethernet network protocols and tools (e.g. wireshark)

• Experience in Test automation

• Experience in Interfaces testing and mock-ups (REST, GraphQL)

• Python and bash scripting skills

• Experience with virtualization software (e.g., VirtualBox, Hypervisor or Docker)
  

Location

This role is primarily on-site at our Tampere office (around 80% of your weekly hours), giving you the chance to collaborate closely with the team. It’s a fixed-term position for about one year.
