Teleste is expanding its presence in North America and looking for a hands-on, strategic leader to build and lead our regional Customer Support function. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of customer experience for Teleste’s broadband and video solutions across the U.S. and Canada.

As Director Customer Support you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring seamless collaboration with Teleste’s global teams and partners. You’ll drive support strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver high-quality service that reflects Teleste’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead Teleste’s customer support operations in North America.
• Act as the main liaison between regional customers and global support teams.
• Resolve customer issues with speed, transparency, and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and production teams across time zones.
• Provide customer insights to influence product and process improvements.
• Engage directly with customers through meetings, reviews, and escalations.
• Define local support processes, metrics, and reporting structures.
• Plan for future team growth, vendor partnerships, and training needs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 10+ years in technical customer support, field services, or solutions engineering.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in broadband, HFC, DOCSIS, and/or video distribution technologies.
• Experience working with international teams and across time zones.
• Proven success in building or scaling support functions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~20–30%).

  Compensation is competitive and based on location and individual qualifications, including experience, education, and skill set.
