Senior Director - Business Development & Sales
We are looking for a dynamic, curious, and self-motivated Senior Director - Business Development & Sales to join our growing team. In this high-impact, individual contributor role, you will own and execute the sales strategy for key named accounts. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, marketing, and leadership to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and exceed ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for key accounts.
- Set and achieve aggressive sales goals and KPIs in alignment with the executive team.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, deeply understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.
- Conduct market analysis to uncover growth areas and new opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring a healthy pipeline.
- Negotiate and close deals with favorable terms for both clients and the company.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
- Lead the creation and presentation of sales materials with support from the product team.
- Provide regular performance updates and insights to drive ongoing improvement.
- Leverage CRM and analytics tools to measure success and optimize the sales process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of proven success in B2B sales leadership, ideally in technology or telecommunications.
- Strong familiarity with broadband, cable, or related technologies is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and deliver results.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on location (Dallas, Denver, or Atlanta) and individual qualifications, including experience, education, and skill set.
Location Preferred: Dallas, Denver, or Atlanta
Travel: Up to 50% in the U.S. with occasional trips to headquarters in Finland
